Finally the HOA elections have arrived, the first ever Board completed it's term at the HOA of Bexley Park. Since the elections of HOA are governed by FL state statutes, the quorum is very important. The attendance in the general meetings, if at all an indication of the attendance in the Election meeting, will call for dependence on the proxies, to meet the quorum for the elections. The current Board, did a good job to circulate the election notice about a month ahead to try to reach as many people as possible.
Let's see how it goes and watch out for the outcome of the elections at our website!
Thanks

The year ahead!
Most of us started living in Bexley Park around middle of 2005, so it's well over 18 months now. If we look back, we got our HOA formed a year ago, no doubt it's time for elections. We got a new Management company A&N who took over from Castle, even a new landscape company.
In the year 2006, we started to see some social activities such as pool party, kid's Halloween parade, community garage sale, Holidays decoration contest etc. and finally we got our website! The email contact lists, the community directories are evolving to the state they need to be in. All this will provide more means of interaction amongst the Bexley residents and hopefully we will see more collaborative events. The Delray downtown has evolved a lot in last few years, the 100 ft XMAS does not seem to have any competition in South FL! Similarly, there is no reason for us to grow for better as a community with no competition! Seems like the city park will soon start to give us our own version of "Central Park."
Once again wish you all a very Happy New Year!
Thanks
Shyam
